With over 30 miles of oceanfront, you won’t run out of places to walk and explore in The Maine Beaches area. Ogunquit’s Marginal Way is a paved, public shoreline footpath. Perfect for a leisurely stroll or a morning jog, the path is dotted with benches for those who want to rest, take a sip of water or just breathe in the ocean air.

For a hillier hike, visit Mount Agamenticus. The 10,000 acres of preservation land includes several challenging hiking trails, some of which can be explored by bike, horseback or ATV.

With all the gorgeous oceanfront, opportunities for sea kayaking abound. For the experienced, you can bring your own kayak and make new memories as you paddle along the Atlantic. Or, rent a kayak when you get here and explore an area like the Saco River, with or without a guide. Many campgrounds have kayak and other water-related rentals available.
