Member Testimonials

Maine Classic Car Museum
“Partnering with the Maine Tourism Association has helped us turn ideas into real visitor experiences.
Their team doesn't just display our information,  they actively connect travelers to what makes the Maine Classic Car Museum special.
From increased awareness to new memberships, group visits, and event bookings, MTA delivers more than information.
For a small business, it’s one of the most effective ways to get your story in front of Mainers and Visitors alike”

Maine Maritime Museum
"We can attribute our recent growth in visitation in part to our membership in Maine Tourism Association—between our advertisements in their high-quality tourist resource guides, our familiarization tours with visitor center staff, and partnerships on social media, I really felt like Maine Maritime Museum was an active contributor to the growth of Maine's tourism businesses, working alongside our partners at MTA. Our museum is not only an authentic experience, it's one that embodies so much of Maine whether it's uplifting undertold stories, gawking at gorgeous lighthouses, or learning about industries such as lobstering or shipbuilding, and I felt the genuine enthusiasm from MTA in helping us get folks up to Bath."

Frances Perkins Center
"The Maine Tourism Association is an invaluable partner to the Frances Perkins Center in our work to increase visitation to Maine’s newest National Park Service site. The Visitor Center staff consistently provide timely insights on emerging tourism trends and expert guidance on how to maximize our modest resources. We look forward to our ongoing collaboration with MTA to connect more visitors seeking the unique and inspiring Maine experience we offer at the Frances Perkins National Monument."

MyMaine Media
"MyMaine's partnership with the MTA has helped us realize our vision of a true statewide magazine. Visitors and residents alike pick up complimentary seasonal issues at the Visitor Centers, effectively sharing Maine's authentic stories far and wide. After only the first three issues, the MTA distributed over 6,000 copies throughout Maine and hundreds of those readers became paid subscribers. This collaboration directly benefits Maine's tourism industry, small businesses and creatives by getting the magazine directly into travelers' hands. We often hear that those featured in the magazine gain new customers and exposure because of their presence in MyMaine. We look forward to continuing this impactful relationship as we enter our busiest summer season."
