WHERE DOES THE SUN COME UP FIRST IN MAINE?
The first point in Maine to see the sunrise depends on the time of year. The easternmost point in the U.S. is Quoddy Head State Park in Lubec but it only sees first light around the spring and fall equinoxes. In the summer, Mars Hill in Aroostook County has that honor. October through March, Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park sees the first rays of sun.
