Ride the Sheepscot Valley narrow gauge, built in 1894. Maine's Wiscasset, Waterville, and Farmington Railway is a two-foot gauge railway which originally ran from Wiscasset northward to Albion and Winslow. Today a portion of the railway in Alna, just north of Wiscasset is under restoration. Visitors are welcome to visit and experience a journey on our ever-growing railway to a several destinations including a picnic grove, hiking trains, and our rebuilt workshops. Visitors are also invited to actively take part in work at the museum.
