Roque Bluffs State Park
- 145 Schoppee Point Road
- Roque Bluffs, ME 04654
- (207) 255-3475
On Schoppee Point, the 274-acre Roque Bluffs State Park provides visitors with great coastal landscapes. A half-mile crescent of sand along Englishman Bar allows for brisk saltwater swims, however, there is no lifeguard on duty. A playground and a picnic area offer a great space for children to play, and a 6-mile trail network gives an opportunity to explore nearby orchards, fields, and woods. The habitat at Roque Bluffs supports abundant wildlife, and bird watchers will be happy to frequently see bald eagles, and occasionally spot less common birds such as Barrow's Goldeneye, Gadwall ducks, and Hooded Mergansers.
