An 888-acre park, Cobscook Bay State Park is surrounded by water on three sides, giving plenty of opportunity for bird watching, and relaxing by the water's edge. Cobscook is the Maliseet-Passamaquoddy tribal word for "boiling tides" is an apt name for this park, which can see tidal range averaging 24-28 feet. This state park is a great place for family camping and exploration, with 106 campsites both for tenting and RVing. The park also offers a boat launch.
