Workforce concerns are the most pressing challenge to the Maine tourism and hospitality industry today, and we want to help our industry face these issues head on. We believe that there are practical steps that Maine businesses can take to ease these burdens, and that's why we're proud to announce our Tourism Workforce Summit in October of 2023.
The theme of this conference will be "Becoming an Employer of Choice." We know that, while there is much in today's labor market that is beyond employers' control, there are practical and constructive ways that employers can be more competitive in that labor market. Our one day summit on October 25, 2023 will feature panels and speakers on topics such as:
