December is a magical time in Maine. There is nothing like an old-fashioned New England holiday steeped in history and tradition. From holiday parades, sparkling lights and Christmas decor, festive window displays, to caroling, Maine never ceases to amaze.
After the lobstering season is finished, Maine decides to put them to use on our Christmas tree. Lobster trap trees can be seen in many areas of the state and we invite you to try to see as many as possible throughout your holiday visit.
