Welcome to the

Maine Forest and Logging Museum

We are an event-based outdoor living history museum. We preserve, demonstrate and recreate our state’s rich forestry and logging history. To see what we’re about, come to one of our events. Between events, the Museum is a lovely place to walk around.

Rent us for your event, when we’re not having ours!

New Event!

Our first offering in our presentation series, “Evening at the Museum” will happen Saturday, July 13, 2024. Come hear about the Ghost Trains of the Allagash.

Volunteers Needed!

Come join the crew! We need volunteers to make our events special and to help keep us looking good! Please see our volunteer page for more info.

Our Hours

The grounds are open daily during daylight hours–except during our events–for walking around.
