Oxford County Mineral & Gem Association
- 178 N. Main St.
- Bethel, ME 04217
The Oxford County Mineral & Gem Association was formed in 1948 by a group of people who liked collecting rocks. In particular, they enjoyed collecting from the incredibly rich pegmatite mines of Oxford County. Today we still collect from these same mines! We also are jewelry makers and faceters, cabbers and mineral sellers, and miners and lovers of all things mineral. Every July we organize and run a Gem and Mineral Show. We also fund students at the Bryant Pond 4H camp as well as provide scholarships to local high schools. We have a whole lot of fun. Our meetings are at the Oxford Hills Middle School in South Paris, the first Friday of the month (except for January, July and September) at 7:00 PM. All are welcome Our website is: www.ocmgassoc.blogspot.com Our 2018 show will be on July 7 & 8. Contact Information: Dennis Gross 207-665-2759 email: firstname.lastname@example.org
