This lighthouse is located on Lake Cobbosseecontee in Winthrop. The light is maintained by Cobbosseecontee Yacht Club and is not accessible to the public. It is easily viewed by boat. The lake had always been difficult to navigate and the lighthouse was built on top of a large section of jagged reef named "Ladies Delight" making navigation easier. (Image courtesy of Carol Blake)
