Tippling at the Tate House Museum
Portland - Join the Tate House Museum for a wine tasting and talk in the dining room of the Means House on Saturday, April 28 at 4:PM. Joe Appel, who is the wine buyer at Rosemont Market and former wine editor for the Portland Press Herald, will be pouring and sharing with attendees the history of wine in the time of the Tate family. Not everyone in the mid 18th century could afford wine but come and learn what they did drink if they could. Appetizers will be shared to cleanse the palate and keep you sober. You know what can happen when one tipples.
This is a fund and fun raiser for the Tate House Museum so make your reservation early as space is limited. Tickets are $35 and can be purchased by calling the museum at 774-6177 or going to https://www.eventbrite.com/o/tate-house-museum-8364593136
