King Day & His New Imperials play music that makes you want to move!
Jump Blues, West Side Soul and real old school Rock n roll. Kris "King "Day
is best know for his time touring the States and performing with Rock N Roll
legends Link Wray, Dale Hawkins and the great Ronnie Dawson as well as his decades long
association with Neo-rockabilly pioneers King Memphis. The Imperials feature Grammy nominated
Per Hanson (Ronnie Earl and the Broadcasters) on drums, vocals and blues harp (often at the same time).
Dave Wakefield brings his searing tone on the tenor saxophone to new heights every turn and holding down the groove
on bass is one of the most sought after musicians around Mr Jason Phelps. See King Day & His new Imperials this summer
before they collide with international super stardom!

Join us at the gazebo at Poland Spring Resort, bring your blanket, and enjoy a night out with your family! Tickets are $5.00 per person, all proceeds go to the Poland Spring Preservation Society to benefit the Maine State Building and All Souls Chapel. Concerts will be moved to the Maine Inn if the weather isn't ideal!
