Photo Adventure: Fall Foliage in Western Maine, Waterfalls & Covered Bridges
- October 8, 2019 - October 8, 2019
Join us for a multi-day adventure to photograph breathtaking autumn colors, magnificent and graceful waterfalls, and distinguished covered bridges in an area that Yankee Magazine ranks among the top destinations for fall foliage. With most locations being easily accessible, all fitness levels will enjoy this trip. All skill levels and all camera types are welcome.
As you journey through the region on our daily scenic excursions there will be other photo opportunities with meandering streams, stunning river valleys, impressive mountain vistas, gorges, farms, quaint New England villages, night sky, and possibly some wildlife. This area is on the eastern edge of the White Mountains and is rich in geographical beauty with the Mahoosuc Mountain Range, Grafton Notch, Maine Public Reserve Lands, and the Androscoggin River Valley.
Your photo guide will lead you to the best photo spots, help you with composition and camera handling, and offer you ways to expand your photographic eye. There will be individual review of your images in the field and at the lodge, and many group discussions.
